Installation problem of K-Lite Mega Codec Pack 14.1.5 stop at "Registering files..."

Hi Admin,

I finally install the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack 14.1.5 successfully after I reinstall the Windows 10 and reset it to the factory setting.

The anti-virus program I am using is F-Secure.

I hope the information above help you to improve the program to prevent the hanging during installation process.

I have the same problem. Any solution other than reinstalling windows 10 again?

Windows 10 version 1809 was released yesterday. Updating to that will re-install all system files. That will most likely fix the problem.

Thank you very much, Admin. Finally I was able to install K-Lite without problem after doing the Windows update that you tell me about. I have been using K-Lite for many years and everything has always been perfect. It is the first time I have an incident, but it is already resolved. Thank you!
