Re: I can't install K-Lite Codec Pack in a PC
@Admin, maybe it's a good idea to add a warning then during installation that G-Buster will likely interfere with the installation(the .dll), since 2 people confirmed it's G-buster now.
Or maybe you could even work around the issue by disabling audio device detection if this .dll is detected(and setting it same as input by default). That's probably too much work for such a small user group though.
For now until G-Buster fixes this issue, you will have to uninstall it and then install/update K-Lite and then reinstall G-buster to access your bank.

Re: I can't install K-Lite Codec Pack in a PC
After more analysis it turns out that this problem only occurs on Windows 7 and 8.0. And only in roughly 50% of the cases. The problem does not seem to occur on Windows 8.1 and 10.
Next version of the pack will avoid the problem on the affected systems.

Re: I can't install K-Lite Codec Pack in a PC
Something similar happened to me yesterday.
I was normally using K-Lite Mega Codec Pack 13.2.4 without any problems and so I had the bad idea to update it to version 13.5.0.
After that, the player (MPC-HC 64-bit) is unable to start opening a video file. It just show "Opening" at status bar forever until I close it or it crashes. And if I trying to go in "Tools" > "Options" > "Output", the player stop responding and crashes.
So I uninstalled and tried to reinstall the older version (13.2.4), but this time, the same problem reported by the topic author happened. Setup trying to start, but stay minimized and stop responding.
And now I'm without any player.
13.2.4 fails to start setup.
13.5.0 / 13.5.2 fails to play vídeo (and crashes in output option).
So, I tried a install under Windows Security Mode and it's works (but with many features disabled). Then I concluded that there was some program interfering with K-Lite. I just didn't know which.
Now I discovered in this thread. I also have installed the G-Buster / Warsaw shit, so I'll try to remove them to reinstall K-Lite. Probably I'll need to reinstall the G-Buster soon 'cause I'm a bankline user and I'm afraid that it's break K-Lite again.
My Windows is 7 Ultimate, 64-bit.

I suggest to contact the developers of G-Buster. If enough people do that, then maybe they will fix their broken software.

Re: I can't install K-Lite Codec Pack in a PC
Well, I uninstalled the Warsaw G-Buster Defender and Voilà! I was able to install K-Lite Mega Codec Pack 13.5.2 and the output options never crashed again.
I know you are not from Brazil, but believe me, this software should be banned and be listed on all antivirus, because it acts as a malware guaranteeing a supposed "protection" for some internet banklines here, and is hated unanimously by all the IT professionals here, for the problems it causes on the PC. It's completely useless. Some time ago this software didn't existed for Linux and we had a trick to change the Browser User Agent in Windows. So the internet bankline didn't request it installation, and the bankline remained fully functional without it.
Sorry about getting things off my chest.

No problem at all.
Have you tried a virtual machine? With for example VirtualBox you could create a separate Windows installation (with Warsaw) to do banking.
