Low volume using K-lite
I have K-Lite mega codec pac installed. The bare essential with all default settings.
When I compare the volumes on other players ( WMP and VLC ), both of them seem to a have the volume higer than MPC on the same video and audio files. I have checked where ever possible and set the config to stereo. Yet it is the same.
Would love some input

Re: Low volume using K-lite
Check if Mixer is enabled in ffdshow and set to stereo. If the volume is still too low with that, then enable volume normalization in ffdshow.
Re: Low volume using K-lite
Tried it all. I un-installed K-lite and installed CCCP. Now the volume is the same as other players. I just wanted to use MPC as I love it.
Thanks for your help

Re: Low volume using K-lite
CCCP also uses ffdshow audio decoder. So something must have been wrong with your settings.
Re: Low volume using K-lite
I did unistall and use ccleaner. Also I used the Codec tweak tool in k-Lite to reset all settings.
