question, is there a way to set a pan&scan preset as a default for playing videos :?

(basically cuz I've got an old 1280x1024 monitor, and mostly the videos I watch r 720p, it's a bit annoying having to set a preset each time I close the player)

The resolution of your monitor is irrelevant. The video will automatically get resized to fit the screen.
It seems you are one of those people who dislikes black bars. Well, those are supposed to be there, on any monitor.

nah
I've meant I'm using my own 'pan&scan preset'[Pos:0.5000,0.5000 Zoom:1.0000,1.1700] to re-size the picture, since I prefer a bigger picture (I can survive a lil bit of distortion)
was wondering if it is possible to set it as a default somehow :? (since it goes back after closing the player to automatically re-size to 'fit the screen' as u said)

The Pan&Scan settings only apply to the current session. It is not a setting that is remembered.
