can't play video any file Empty can't play video any file

I am using windows 8 consumer preview pack. I can not play any kind of video file with K lite codec pack.I have also downloaded latest codec pack. what should I do? please feed back me.....

Are you running it inside a virtual machine? Most video renderers don't work properly in that case because they require Direct3D.
