Recommended settings for gfx card
Hello,
I just received a NVIDIA Geforce FX 5660 and I'm wondering if there any recommended or special settings for MPC-HC that could squeeze the best performance out of it. I'm running WinXP in this machine.
Edit: I'm not looking for prettiness, but for the best performance.
Thanks,
Carlos

Re: Recommended settings for gfx card
The default settings should be fine. If you have a slow processor, then enable the internal DXVA H.264 decoder.
Re: Recommended settings for gfx card
OK, thanks.
Just for the record, It is not a quadro video card. It's a geforce 5 fx series (AGP). The card is new, but this model was released in 2003.
Just for fun, I downloaded a m2ts demo trailer. The video almost played well, some frame drops, the only thing bad was the sound, it lags behind. Anyway, I'm really happy to see that it could play a h.264 720p mp4 video.
Thanks again,
Carlos.
