Klite not working correctly and some video's are blurred.

For some reason when I try to play some video's that I download from youtube using IDM Internet Download Manager they won't play clearly and are blurred,this problem just started and I haven't had this problem before.

I tried uninstalling the latest version of Klite Mega 18.6.5 and I can play the video fine without Klite being installed,I have also tried using Klite Mega 18.3.5 thinking maybe it was a problem with the newest version of Klite.

This doesn't happen with ever video just some and I can not figure out why,some video files are youtube video's and others are tv shows that won't play right.

This is me playing file that will not play correctly with Klite and me showing in Control Panel the installed version of Klite that I'm using.

This is a video the same video that doesn't play right with Klite but it does work correctly with Windows Media Player.

I wonder if there is a Windows Update that cause this to happen.

Try downloading using the video with yt-dlp.exe + ffmpeg.exe

Pro tip: if you put those files in the MPC-HC folder then you can even stream youtube videos directly in MPC-HC.

IDM is pretty crappy tool, so likely there is something wrong with the downloaded file.
Upload one of the wrong playing files for me, and I can test it on my computer.

It plays normally here, so file should be fine.

Try this:
In the settings of MPC Video Renderer, uncheck NV12 in the video processor section.

If that solves the problem, then it means it is a graphics driver bug.

I tried what you said plus uninstalling my video card driver and went to a known good driver I used and it didn't work.

I know there was an update for Windows a day or 2 ago I wonder if that managed to mess something up.

I just thought of one thing that I didn't try and I will try this tomorrow,I decided to switch from using an HDMI to HDMI cable from my video card to monitor.

I started using an HDMI to Display Port and I wonder if that's causing the problem,that the only thing I can think of that it maybe.

I will post my results tomorrow.

A cable issue would affect the entire screen not just the video.

Uninstall the codec pack, and do a fresh install of the latest version.

I tried uninstalling and that didn't work either.

I think it has something to do with IDM myself as it is only with video's that I download with IDM that won't play right on my PC,I can load them onto a hard drive and play the same video on an Android Box.

I'm thinking the problem I'm having is with Klite as a friend of mine who downloads tv shows downloaded the show in this link and is having the same problem I'm having.

I also reinstalled Windows and then as soon as I installed Klite the problem came back.

Which GPU an driver do you have?

Try unchecking "Use Direct3D 11" in MPC Video Renderer.

That episode plays fine here.

I use an Intel ARC A580 video card by ASROCK this is the installed driver 32.0.101.6297 I also tried the driver version released before this with and that didn't help.

How do you find Direct3D 11 in Klite I can't seem to find it.

MPC-HC options > Playback > Output

MPC Video Renderer should be selected there. If not, select it.

Click on the Settings button to open options of the renderer. Direct3D11 should normally work good with that GPU.

Does your friend have a similar Intel GPU?

It was selected and that seems to be the problem whatever the reason is,once I unchecked Direct3D11 it worked just fine.

These driver bugs are so annoying

The funniest thing is it just started and even after using older drivers it still wanted to act up which is strange.

Does the hardware decoder setting in LAV Video Decoder make any difference?

For example if you select None (software decoding) does Direct3D11 work ok?

For normal use the standard combinations are:
Direct3D11 render + D3D11 decode
Direct3D9 render + DXVA2 decode

It is possible that there have been changes in DirectX in recent Windows updates that may be involved in your problem.
