Videos won't load on Ableton 11 Standard after installing latest K-Lite codec (18.6.5 Mega)

I have had soooo much trouble with codecs for Ableton. FFd show and matroska both never work properly and either crash or show a blank screen in Ableton 11 Standard ( 11.3.35).
When I found K-lite things worked seamlessly until recently when I downloaded the latest. Absolutely no videos show up. The message I have on Ableton as I load an arrangement, from the recent past that worked fine, is this... 'Sample contains no audio data' and shows up as 'Sample offline'. Should I try to install an earlier version of K-Lite? Or should I use the 'tweak tool'?

Ableton is a horrible buggy application. I don't understand how its developers have been able to get away with not fixing video playback after all these years.

Test if your file plays in the GraphStudioNext tool.

Show MediaInfo log of your file. Maybe I can spot something unusual in there.

There is an option in the installer to change system default renderer from VMR-7 to VMR-9. That might help with the blank screen. But not with the audio issue.
