No sound at all after installing K-lite
I installed K-lite full and sound just disappeared. I tried reintsall audio driver, reinstall k-lite, uninstall k-lite, using fixes, changing renderers - nothing working at all, my windows just doesn't have sound now.

Re: No sound at all after installing K-lite
with some magic I fixed it. Started reinstalling windows in recovery settings and stopped it when it was done more than 50%.
When it reverted settings, it fixed audio. Why it worked? I don't know. New log for reseaching if you need it

Re: No sound at all after installing K-lite
After reloading it broke again. Do I really need to fully reinstall windows to fix it?

Re: No sound at all after installing K-lite
New information: sounds return if I shut down PC (and turn on it again) but disappear if I reboot it

Re: No sound at all after installing K-lite
Must be some kind of hardware issue. Check if audio cable is plugged in correctly. It is also possible there is a break in the wire. So test with headphones.
Re: No sound at all after installing K-lite
Yep, there are two headphone jacks in pc and I checked both. Everything works fine if I do cold start and breaks if I do simple reboot. Looks like hardware or Windows itself problem because I found dozens of topics at Microsoft forum with the same issueAdmin wrote:Must be some kind of hardware issue. Re: No sound at all after installing K-lite
Start > Run > services.msc
Check if the Windows Sound service is running. If that is stopped/crashed then that results in sound loss.
I also recommend to disable Windows fast startup:

I dont see Windows Sound or anything similar to it in services but I found Windows Audio and it works fine after cold start and after reboot.
Disabling fast startup did nothing sadly
