Help needed please

I would be really grateful for some help please.

My car dashcam recorded an accident while on parking mode but the battery died, so it seems the file didn't complete.

I have tried multiple applications but cannot open. I've tried on the dashcam, I've tried VLC, I've downloaded and installed K-Lite Codec Pack. Any help will be very appreciated. I've tried the file on the SD card and copied to my pc.

I get this error when trying to open the file with MPC-HC:

That means the file is damaged/incomplete.

Yes, that makes sense. My dashcam was in parking mode and started recording when a bus hit my car.

The battery died so the file didn't complete. I managed to repair the file. It's not perfect but its showing enough for the insurance (hopefully)!
