Seek bar doesn't work for 1 specific file

With this specific file, i can't use the seek bar to jump around in the video, it will look as if it is at the beginning of the video (even if it is not) and the remaining time is not displayed in the bottom right corner. I also cannot use the arrow keys to go forwards or backwards. Does anyone have any idea what is going on? The file worked fine before as well, and i have only ever experienced the problem with this specific file.
Edit: Having the file in a different location solves this problem, but it keeps happening if i move it back to its original location.

There must be a problem with accessing the file.
If it is on some kind of network drive, then the server might not support random access, but only sequential file access.
Or failing hardware that gives corrupt data.

Hmm. I honestly somewhat doubt it. Renaming the folder the file was in also worked. Which would be strange if it was a problem with the drive (it's a regular harddrive).

Well, it is something specific to your system.
What was the folder name before and after?
If there would be a name issue, the file wouldn't open at all. Unicode and long path are supported.
