mpc-last used settings problem
Hello.
I'm having an issue I did not used to have with mpc-hc
I want to have my mpc have a certain default size and position.. basically at the bottom right of the desktop. Once I load any mp3 or mp4 I want it to start there, and if I want to change it from that point I can, and then close it.. and it remains at the size, position etc that I had set originally, not the changed setting that i may use for the file in question. I used to be able to always just have things go back to how they were instead of the last position/settings that I closed the player, but now I can't solve it.
I'd appreciate some help please.
i've included images of the way I want the player to be, as well as the options settings I think are relevant?
I'm using the latest codec-pack with a fresh install and a fresh install windows 10

What exactly happens?
The video position and properties just reverts to the last closed video.

This link is a recording of the desktop showing it in action.
The only thing I can think of, is that mpc-hc is constantly running in administrator mode, and therefore I would need to un-admin myself or something?

Re: mpc-last used settings problem
It remembers the last position/size. Not some random default position that you set in the past. That is not how it works, and it will also not be changed.
Why are you running as admin? That is NOT needed at all for anything. So if you are trying to solve some kind of problem, then a better solution is possible.
Being an admin does not mean that software runs as admin. Most stuff runs as regular user, unless you explicitly elevate it (and see UAC prompt).

Sorry if my words have been confusing.
I am not running it as admin, I just assumed that it was a possibility that the mpc-hc program was running as such as opposed to just a regular user.
That was how I had mpc in the past. I would run as admin to set how I wanted it to be, and place the player in the position i wanted it to be, and then close that... and then all future uses would begin at that place in my case the bottom right of my desktop, with the same size and volume control. Regardless of what I did in any subsequent use. That is what I meant by having a default position, because that what I wanted to achieve.

Store settings in .ini file. Adjust settings to your liking. Then set file as read-only.
