Problem with playback of AVCHD 3D videos
I recently got a new Windows 11 PC and installed K-Lite Mega Codec pack, which I have been using for many years.
I now have a problem playing AVCHD 3D files using MPC-HC. I don't have any special 3D capable monitor, so I just expect to see a 2D video. They play just fine with the new Windows Media Player (as normal 2D video), but MPC-HC (my default player) shows a picture like this, which hardly has any motion:
Normal AVC video plays fine, also interlaced video.
This is the media info for one of those files:

I already tried to find some setting that could be responsible for this, so far without luck.
Does anybody know this problem, and has anyone found a solution?

Re: Problem with playback of AVCHD 3D videos
Can you upload the file for me? Then I can check if it works here.
https://www.sendspace.com
You should try with MadVR as video renderer.

Re: Problem with playback of AVCHD 3D videos
As a workaround you can delete libmfxsw64.dll file in LAVFilters folder. That is the 3D MVC decoder plugin. I suspect that it maybe doesn't work properly with interlaced video. Once deleted the video will be decoded as normal H.264 and the stereo video channel is ignored.
Re: Problem with playback of AVCHD 3D videos
Thanks! That did it. I do have several copies of that library on my system. The version in the LAVFilters folder is 8.18.6.8 from 8-6-2018, but I also found a more recent one (9.19.5.17 from 17-5-2019). Unfortunately replacing it with that one also yields the same problem. So, I guess I'll make do without it for now.
