wyze security cam videos have no sound even in vlc - codec issue

Both Wyze and VLC cant help me get sound to play on videos. Drivers are up to date.

I have checked out that audio is there on the videos when I do a playback inside the wyze app. So audio is on the files I uploaded from sd cards in my security cameras to storage. But I can't play on a computer with sound. Wyze said windows media player does not have the codec files but that vlc dies, but doesn't work either.

Both MPC-HC and VLC play sound here.

It is a mono audio track and I only hear the TV on the background.

OK thanks. I'm scrutinizing videos and I'm finding the security cameras have weak microphones and my dog across the room doesn't have sound picked up so I have to teach her to hold a microphone. I'll place a camera very close to her and try that way. Disappointing. Thanks.

Still investigating and found vlc played no sound on my laptop but has sound on my phone. Vlc on both.
I downloaded vlc again on my laptop and got sound.
