Good morning,

is there any chance to get multichannel audio from a 5.1 AAC coded movie via MPC ?
Hidden button I have to click on...?
It only shows me 2.0 in my AVR

Thanks in advance

You can find solution the FAQ:
http://codecguide.com/faq_configuration.htm#item7

You need Mega pack and enable option to use ffdshow audio processor in MPC-HC. Then follow settings from FAQ.

Hi,
thanks for the tips and hints but it still won`t work...it worked perfect in previous versions of K-Lite Codec. Are there changes made ?
I think I have to use shana decoder for these files to get 5.1 sound
Regards
Thomas

This should still work. Make sure you follow settings instructions correctly.
Re-encoding is only needed fro S/PDIF connection.

If you use HDMI then you can send 5.1 uncompressed to the AVR. In that case make sure the audio device is correctly configured for 5.1 in the Windows Sound settings and Codec Tweak Tool.
