Video is bad unable to see clearly

Hi,

Please look at the screenshot below. I have an older version on my other computer can run perfectly, but another computer of mine unable to view it properly even with the latest K-Lite Mega Media Codec Pack. How can I view it like normal, last time I am able to view it with Windows Media Player now both also not able to view it properly.

You need to give more details about the file and your computer hardware.

Based on just a screenshot I can not offer much help. This could be a corrupt file.

The video is not corrupted all the different episodes I downloaded are the same and it can be played on my other computer.

Working computer
i7-4790
8GB DDR3 Ram
Nvidia GeForce 750Ti

Not working computer
AMD Ryzen 5-3500U
12GB DDR4 Ram

Try disabling hardware decoding in the video decoder settings. If that helps, there possibly is a problem with the driver or GPU hardware.

You should really check if the files are identical on both computers. You can do that with a file hash.

May I know how to disable the hardware decoding?

Player menu > Play > Filters > LAV Video Decoder > Hardware decoder = None

Your older computer is lacking hardware decoding ability for most modern video formats, so that is why that didn't have the problem.

If the problem only occurs with this specific file or series, then it is possible that the file has some damage. Software decoding has better error correction and recovery than hardware decoding.

If the problem also occurs with many other files, then there could be a hardware issue with your GPU.
