MPC: strange behavior with .ass subtitle files

The behavior repeats consistently:
Two .ass files, one in English and one in Italian.

Identical settings.

The English file is displayed correctly, in the Italian one the size is huge

Can anyone help me understand?

Here are the two files.
The one in English is not synchronized. The one in English is not synchronized. I used it to do the Italian translation and sync only the latter correctly

You can fix it by adding these missing parameters to the header:
