Why is the installer trying to access google.com? Empty Why is the installer trying to access google.com?

Care to explain why the installer tries to access that site?
Was trying to install the latest beta update 1778 and got a notification from my firewall, proof:

Your firewall is giving a wrong website for the reverse dns.

The installer uses google analytics.
