Causes some video players to crash, like in VRChat

For some reason having this codec pack causes some video players in VRChat to completely freeze the screen or crashes the game when attempting to use the video player in those worlds. I'm genuinely at a loss here.

Probably a graphics driver issue:

You can try disabling hardware accelerated video decoding.
