Request support to nvidia super resolution RTX

Hi, please try to support nvidia super resolution to upscale videos res from low res vids.
The VLC already has a version supporting it but I would stick to klite as its much better.
Klite is an awesome video player, hope to see an update soon, many thanks.

That is already supported. In fact, we had it long before VLC did.

You must select MPC Video Renderer in MPC-HC options.
Then in MPC Video Renderer options you can find the SuperRes option.

It only works with low resolution 8-bit video (NVIDIA driver limitation, not ours!).
It consumes a LOT of extra power.
Its quality benefits are not very good in most cases.

great good info thanks for your efforts. yes i tried and the super res wasnt great as expected, and i didnt use the mpc renderer as it wasnt supported in the nvidia video color adjustment settings. I set my screen brightness lower for normal usage but would like to have videos on normal brightness. the mpc renderer ignores the nvidia video settings as it wasnt supported. the players own brightness settings were a bit different from nvidias panel i wasnt able to get a correct value using that.

The color adjustment functionality of the player does not work if you are already adjusting in the NVIDIA settings. It is either controlled by the driver or the application. You can't have both at same time.
