Upgrading an install overwrites some of the settings.... BUG?
If i upgrade an "old" install by running the latest upgrade or full installer pack... it overwrites settings in MPC.
It ignores your settings and overwrites with some default settings... atleast these options: DirectShow Video, Audio Renderer and Subtitle Renderer...
This is anoying... atleast ask before you fubar the setting with somting....
Windows 10 19045.3086

The update pack does not change any settings.
The installer may adjust certain settings if it detects a change in GPU compared to a previous installation.

Strange, as it 'adjusted' atlest those tre settings...
Adjusting == changing... so :/
I always have subtitles turned off and vobsub disabled... and the installer/update turned this on....buy enabling vobsub... It also change the audiorenderer.... from my selected optical output to "MPC Audio Renderer"
And the thing "if it detects a change in GPU" .... My hardware has been like it is the last year+++... and why change subtitles and audiosettings.....on a "GPU CHANGE" witch it hasent... logic???
Please change the installer/updater to NOT ADJUST/CHANGE *any* current settings.... it is a reason for the user setting them in the first place.... or atleast make it ask... as a optional thing..."Do you want to make some 'adjustments' in the settings to somting that seems more optiomal?" Yes/NO
On the upside... the pack is nice and easy to do a clean first install, even with its minor notBUG's
Sorry for posting, but if noone say something... it does not exists and thus notthing will change ever...

This is just like Micr$oft does windows update.... "We know better then the user what they need and want better then them... Want it or not, here it is!"

It correctly remembers the audio renderer. It never changes to "MPC Audio Renderer". So change was made by yourself or other software.
