K-Lite broke my WMP and I still cant play some AVI files!

Did the "Install the K-Lite Codec Pack" as suggested.
When I started WMP again to view some AVI, the look and functionality of WMP was different.
Dynamic Seek no longer works. The AVI frezes about half way through.
Some AVI files STILL CANNOT BE PLAYED!
How do I get the WMP back that I had before I installed the stinky, noworky K-Lite Codex Pack?
I am sick of this AVI wont play issue.

K-Lite does not alter the looks of WMP, nor does it break playback.

I suspect you changed the default video player on Windows. There is a modern looking player app and the old Windows Media Player.

The MediaInfo tool can show details about your AVI files, such as which video format it contains.

Windows Media player is a crap player. I recommend using Media Player Classic that comes with K-Lite.
