How to manualy load chapter file (*xml) in video playback?

With subtitle file we can just rename it to match the video file and the sub will automatically loaded in playback, we can also just drag and drop the sub. These methods dont work with chapter file (xml format). Normally this file is embedded inside mkv but I don't want to mux my video. So how do I load this file manually?

I see, sad now I have no choice to mux merge it with my video.
