Generic file formats association

During the process of installation user can associate file formats with MPC-HC. And at the botom of the list of video files there is this Generic section, which contains

Code:

.video

I would like to suggest adding also

Code:

.vid

and

Code:

.movie

And also for the audio files there also could be added a similar Generic section, which would include then

Code:

.aud
.audio
.snd
.sound
.mus
.music

And then also for playlists add

Code:

.play
.playlist

Terrible and pointless idea. These are not actual common file extensions.

.video was added specifically for bypassing Media Foundation in WMP and is documented as such in our FAQ.

But don't some stupid programs, now or in the future, for whatever reason [will] use such generic extensions instead of extension like MKV or MKA?
