Hardware decoding - old installation KLITE and new GPU
Hello,
I changed my GPU (AMD RX 6750 XT (before Nvidia GTX 970) with an old Windows installation...
I noticed that the hardware acceleration was "enabled" with the AVC video codec (h.264) via this information:
(décodage matériel = hardware acceleration)
But with the HEVC video codec (h.265) the information does not appear...
Does this mean that I am decoding the video in "software rendering"?
Should I reinstall Klite Codec Pack so that it takes into account my new GPU and enable the "hardware acceleration" for the HEVC?
Have a nice day !

You can also enable in the settings of the video decoder.
Menu > Play > Filters > LAV Video Decoder
Menu > Play > Filters > LAV Video Decoder

Many thanks!
The "HEVC" codec was not checked!
Hardware acceleration is now active ! :p
