Nvidia VSR support for MPC video renderer
There is a version of the MPC video renderer that supports Nvidia VSR: https://github.com/emoose/VideoRenderer/releases/tag/rtx-1.0
It works fine for me replacing the renderer from the K-Lite pack, maybe you can add support directly to the bundled renderer?

17.4.6 has direct support for it.
VSR does consume a LOT of extra power and still has several bugs. But that is NVIDIA driver issue.

Re: Nvidia VSR support for MPC video renderer
Can you elaborate on how it's supported?
I downloaded 17.4.6 last night but VSR had no effect. Tried everything. I had to download from the link above and follow the instructions from emoose's VideoRenderer fork installation to get it to work. Had to download MPC-BE to configure it (to change properties in the Video Renderer).

Re: Nvidia VSR support for MPC video renderer
You do not need MPC-BE. It also works with MPC-HC.
* Install 17.4.7
* Enable VSR in NVIDIA driver settings
* Enable "Use Direct3D 11" and "NV SuperRes" in MPC Video Renderer
It only works with 8-bit video. It does not work for 10-bit or HDR.
If does not work, press Ctrl+J to show debug overlay and make a screenshot.

Ah. That makes sense why it's not working for me. I have HDR (10 bit). Thank you for the explanation.

Re: Nvidia VSR support for MPC video renderer
HDR is also generally high resolution video. VSR is for upscaling lower resolution video (<= 1080p).
