MPC Key Settings lost after KLC Mega 17.4.1 update

i have set some mouse klicks for medium back and forward transport. those where conflicting default configuration. i disabled those 2 default settings, so mine where working fine.
after said update my settings wre lost.

also other settings regarding auto download of subtitles were lost.

Settings are preserved during update, except if you do a fresh install or explicitly enable option to reset settings.

Maybe you were storing settings using INI file and there was an issue with file access permissions.

properties: file isready for archieving is the only box checked.
read/read+execute permission granted.

The installer tries to set the correct file permissions on each update. If that fails, then it deletes the INI file.
