feature request: show title and author metadata for photos

I use MPC for a mixed slideshow with photos and videos.
Is it possible to show the still image's title and author (XMP or IPTC metadata) in the "information" window also for photos (similar to the Quicktime metadata for videos)?
And is it possible to define a display duration for still images, so it can operate automatically ?

Support for such metadata is not available and will not be added. MPC isn't a picture viewer, so functionality related to images is very limited.

It already has an option for image duration. But works only with certain source filters, like this one:
