Playing SBS in VR

Hi,
I feel this must be a silly question, but I have a Quest 2 and there are SBS movies that I have that i can't play with my many VR players. K-Lite MPC is the first media player that can play them, but When I just go to my desktop in VR and open them in MPC, I see the two movies side by side, I don't enter VR. So the question is: is there a way to enter vr from there? Or is there a free movie reader made for VR that can use the K-Lite codecs?

MPC does not support VR output.

The HEVC media foundation codec might solve the playback issues with VR players:
