Add an enhancer and upscaler AI option like smart TV's AI!!! How can I enjoy 1080P anime / movies on 4K TV via PC?!!!

I always have watched Anime on my 1440p 27inch monitor(mg279q) but today I watched one episode of AOT on my family tv (Samsung AU7000 55inch) and it looked really amazing!
and it surprised me that 1080P anime looked much sharper on 4k TV than on a 1440p Monitor!!!!

Why? I think Samsung's AI upscaled and enhanced it!(I watched with USB flash drive!)

So my question is if I buy same TV or a better TV for myself can I have the same experience I had today(sharper video+better colors+smoother video) on my own TV if I connect my TV to my PC(through HDMI)??!! (I mean I want to watch 1080P anime on 4K TV but video source is my PC! so TV's AI upscaling can't help me with HDMI!!)


and Is there anything that upscales and enhances 1080p Anime and movies on PC for watching on 4K TVs and 1440p monitors?!

I tried to find something like smart TV's AI for enhancing and upscaling 1080p video content on 1440p monitors and 4K TVs and I heard about madvr and I tried this:

But I didn't see any difference on my 1440p monitor or I just don't know how it works!!!

What should I do?

The pack includes MadVR which you can select as the video renderer.

That has advanced scaling algorithms (like NGU) which are even better than those from your TV.

I don't know how to use those options.... can you pls tell me what things should I enable and change for enhancing and upscaling better than my TV's AI?!
What settings should I use exactly?
(I installed K-Lite_Codec_Pack_1730_Mega and I have a good PC! RTX 2080+7700k)

I used these heavy settings and it made 1080p  anime look like 4k anime!!! but it was not ok for movies...
and bad thing about this is these settings were killing my GPU!!!!

can you pls give me two decent settings without killing my GPU

Don't enable all those enhancements. Very bad beginner mistake to blindly enable everything. You need to experiment and test and compare results. Otherwise leave all of them disabled.

I don't have any further advice. There are plenty of places with information where you can learn about MadVR. I don't have time to teach you.

Do not use NGU very high for Chroma scaling. Use a simple algorithm like Bilinear for that to get better performance. Chroma is much less important than image scaling.

I did these settings for anime and it looks good! but I don't think it's the best settings for movies!
I want to have better settings without making a heavy process for GPU!(I watch everything (1080P content) with different bit rates on 1440p monitor!)

and another question Every content needs a unique settings(profile)?????! if yes why you don't make different profiles for MPC?

Pls make different profiles for MPC... one for anime...one for bluray movies....one for non-bluray movies and ETC!
one series of settings for low-end PCs and a series of settings for mid-range PCs another one for high-end PCs! ( and the ability to detect users's resolution automatically for better perf/img quality! maybe)

Pls do it! it will be a game-changer!

Use Cubic 60 for chroma upscaling
Use Jinc for image upscaling or lanczos 3 taps for better performance
Now enable only adaptivesharpen in upscaling refinement, disable linear light next to it, disable anti-bloating and anti-ringing filters below it, set it to 0.3 and check, if it's too sharp, decrease to 0.2, if too blurry, increase to 0.4.

You can make profiles in MadVR to have different settings for different type of content.

Would it be possible to add Nvidia upscaler to 4k as enabled on Chrome and Edge? https://www.tomshardware.com/news/chrome-support-nvidia-upscaling. Also Microsoft has also somewhat enabled upscaling on Radeon and Nvidia cards https://www.techspot.com/news/97832-microsoft-now-has-web-video-upscaler.html Would this even be possible for MPC to borrow both Nvidia and Microsoft's idea? That is already available in MPC Video Renderer for several months. The option is called "Super Resolution".

But I can disappoint you. It only works with low resolution video (NVIDIA limitation!) and only with 8bit video. Its quality sucks. And it uses a huge amount of extra power. So it basically is crap.
