Help! Need mpeg audio 1 layer 1 codec

I cant find it. How do i get it?

That should be supported by the pack. So you need to provide more details about which player you are using, and the file itself.

Im using the player that came with the pack. I dont even mind posting the video if need be. i have multiple of the same file type so if we figure out one then we could figure out the rest.

What info on the file do you need if you dont want me to send the video itself?

You can upload the video to Sendspace or some other file host.

The audio track seems to contain just silence in your file.

I have like 9 different videos and they all do the same thing… years upon years ago they had sound. Thats why i thought it was a codec issue. Are you thinking there is no sound at all? Could i send another video? Thank you for your help.

I believe that the video should have sound.

But unfortunately both the standard MPEG audio decoder from Windows (used by WMP) and the decoder from FFmpeg (used by K-Lite and VLC) does not produce any audible sound.

I you remember which brand and model camera recorded it, then maybe there is software from that manufacturer that can play it.

Yeah, I can't remember specifically - but pretty positive it was a Casio Exilim. Unfortunately, the download I need isn't available for whatever reason. The link is broken. However, I do appreciate all your help and support.
