Microsoft ADPCM?

Is there a reason why Microsoft ADPCM audio codec is disabled by default and what will happen if i enable it if i need?

That is an old and obsolete codec from Windows. You don't need it.

Strange? It's required for a game that i am playing, because i had no audio in the game without it, only music. I guess i will disable it when i finish the game than. Thanks

You can keep it enabled. It won't have negative effects.
