MPC-HC issue on new install
I installed klite on a new laptop and am having an issue when using MPC-HC. Whenever I pause a video for more than 20 seconds and then unpause it will stutter and then jump ahead a few frames before resuming playing. I didnt have this issue on my older, slower laptop.
Is there a setting I need to change? Thank you.

Re: MPC-HC issue on new install
I suspect your problem might be caused by a power-saving feature of your laptop. It might be disabling some hardware devices after a short period of inactivity. Probably the sound subsystem.
Test if it also happens with plugged in power cord and laptop power profile set to "high performance". If it does not happen in that situation then it would confirm my suspicion.
A workaround is probably possible, but I need to know which laptop model you have, so I can search for a solution.

Re: MPC-HC issue on new install
The laptop model I have is an Acer Aspire 5 A515-56-32DK which I have upgraded to 12gb of RAM and 512gb ssd. I have the power profile set to "high performance" and all other settings are set to "never sleep". I will add that I am not having the issue using VLC media player (but I really dont want to use VLC media player).
Any help or workaround is appreciated.

I was able to solve this issue.
I was using MPC Video Renderer with Sane AR Audio Renderer. I switched to MPC Audio Renderer and the issue went away.
