Skins not working in Media Player Classic

Hi

I've got MPC installed via k-lite (mega) the following path is C:\Program Files (x86)\K-Lite Codec Pack\MPC-HC64 and it is the latest version.

There is another folder as well C:\Program Files (x86)\K-Lite Codec Pack\MPC-HC (non 64bit)

I downloaded the skin (toolbar.bmp) and placed it where the exe is - it is a very simple process, but for the life of me I can't get the skin to display or load. MPC will not load the skin ?

Using Win10 Pro

What am I doing wrong, has anyone had any issues or can help.

I've watched youtube clips and like I said, its an easy process and I'm doing it as instructed.

that is the first site i went to.
you put the bmp in the root folder where the exe is... simple, ..... but won't work.

It is working fine for me, so I don't know what is wrong on your computer. Which toolbar.bmp are you using?

i tried these two...

mpc_toolbar_Glossy_by_longinus525 [16x16, 24x24, 32x32]
and
mpc_toolbar_cool_blue_32 [32x32]

Works for me. I don't know what is wrong.
