MPC-HC plays *.mid file with *.mp4 file

Hi, I appreciate K-Lite Codec Pack.

However, I am confused by the following problem.
Suppose that there are two files xyz.mp4 and xyz.mid (both have the same name, 'xyz'), in a directory.
If I click xyz.mp4, MPC-HC should play only xyz.mp4.
However, MPC-HC plays xyz.mid simultaneously.
I use the latest(17.1.7) standard pack on a Windows 10 PC and a Windows 11 PC, and this phenomenon happens on both machines.

Does anyone else have this problem?

The player has the ability to load an audio dub when it is named same as video file.

You can disable it here:
Options > Playback > Auto load audio files
