AV1 hardware decoding not working in version 17.1.5

AV1 hardware decoding is no long working after installing 17.1.5. Affects all AV1 videos and was working fine with 17.1.0. I am using Windows 10 with MPC-HC. GPU is Intel UHD 770 from an Intel 12600K.

Which hardware acceleration setting was selected in the video decoder? It should be d3d11 for your Intel GPU. If it was something else, then please send me the installation log. You can find that in the Windows temporary files folder (%TEMP%).

Same here with the beta 17.1.6 and Full pack. I am using windows 11 with MPC-HC like you. The only difference is my GPU (RTX 3070).
Tried dxva2 (native and copy back) and D3D11 (usually used) with no problems at all. All others format are supported and accelerated.

Yes I am using d3d11 as well with AV1 enabled in the LAV video decoder settings. Same settings as when I used 17.1.0 but not working in 17.1.5.

I can't confirm because my GPU does not support AV1.

Sad... Not using AV1 every day for sur but i made some experiment just for fun in encoding. Decoding acceleration is not necessary with a good CPU but when hardware GPU is capable, as well enjoy ^^
PS: like Church says, works with 17.1.0 Full.
PS 2 : works with MPC-BE , gpu works on DXVA2 copy back.
