Moviemaker error after upgrading K-Lite Codec Basic
Hi - hope you can help
After the upgrade, when trying to open mp4 files on Windows Movie Maker, the file comes up with exclamation marks rather than video.
The videos open normally on VLC and Windows Media Player.
Error: 0xC946002C
Thanks
Sally

Re: Moviemaker error after upgrading K-Lite Codec Basic
I found this possible solution on the Internet:
Movie Maker options > Advanced > uncheck "Prepare files for faster editing" and "Prepare files for better stability".
The restart Movie Maker.

The restart Movie Maker.

Also re-install the codec pack. Other software installers can sometimes mess with the codecs.
