Assistance with installing the K-Lite Codec Pack

So I have a Windows 11 Home edition (64 bit) OS on a Desktop Dell Inspiron PC.  I downloaded the K-Lite Codec Pack 17.0.07 from June 24th. When I tried to install the Codecs I received the following error message, "The K-Lite Codec Pack is not installed on your computer. This installer can only be used to install an existing pack of the K-Lite Codec." The end result is I couldn't get it installed. In this situation, what's the best way to get the version I downloaded installed?  Thanks.

You downloaded an update pack, not the normal installer.
