Windows 11 media player
Hi,
I'm using windows 11 beta and there is a new media player. Does k-lite support this media player as it seem that after disabling media foundation. I can't use the player to play videos file.

Re: Windows 11 media player
The new Media Player uses Media Foundation. So don't disable that.
K-Lite only installs DirectShow codecs. You can find extra Media Foundation codecs on codecguide.com website.

if I do not disable the media foundation. I'm unable to play video files with separate .srt files even though I had set the setting to use merit
file type .mp4
Video
ID : 1
Format : AVC
Format/Info : Advanced Video Codec

Re: Windows 11 media player
Use Media Player Classic from K-Lite. That plays everything and does not need any tweaks or modifications.
Both old and new Windows Media Player have very limited capabilities.
