the directory name is invalid

Pokémon - S08E0369 - Clamperl of Wisdom. Won't let me play files like these because of the accent on the e. Using the latest update.

Such folder name works for me. I need more details.

Folder name is Pokemon (1997) S08 (Advanced Battle) 1080p WEBrip x265 Bluespots [ENG Dub] , I even did afresh install but still nothing.

So weird but it gives me that error when I double click the file because I have mphc set as my default. It plays just fine when I choose open with option. It must be a windows issue.

I figured out the issue. It's these folders.
Pokemon (1997) S06 (Advanced) DVDrip x265 Bluespots [ENG Dub]
Pokemon (1997) S07 (Advanced Challenge) 1080p WEBrip x265 Bluespots [ENG Dub]
Pokemon (1997) S08 (Advanced Battle) 1080p WEBrip x265 Bluespots [ENG Dub]
I can't rename them and when I move the files outside the folder they play just fine.

Maybe the total length of the path exceeds 256 characters? Windows does not like that.

I recommend moving your download folder to a shorter path.

I have decided to do that but now I'm stuck with an empty folder that I can't rename or delete. Thanks for the responses but I'll have to figure this out myself.
EDIT: Thanks for the help but I remembered that I had this problem before and I just had to look for the answer on my browser history. It was on reddit and it was an answer that wasn't upvoted that much and very different from the other responses. This guy used the winrar delete files after archive option. I had 7zip installed. I tried messing around with cmd but Idk what the hell I'm doing so this worked out for the better. Please delete thread.

Thanks but that's c drive only. It's on my E drive

That is just an example. It works with any drive.
