About the update
Hello everybody,
I just updated K-Lite Codec Pack to 16.8.0, and MPC/HC, in its "About" dialog box, displays me this :
MPC-HC (64-bit)
---------------
Build information:
Version: 1.9.19 (b64326a16)
Compiler: MSVC v19.29.30139
Build date: Jan 30 2022
LAV Filters:
LAV Splitter: 0.76.0.2
LAV Video: 0.76.0.2
LAV Audio: 0.76.0.2
FFmpeg compiler: MinGW-w64 GCC 10.2.0
Operating system:
Name: Windows 10 (Build 21H1)
Version: 10.0.19043 (64-bit)
Hardware:
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10510U CPU @ 1.80GHz
GPU: Intel(R) UHD Graphics (driver version: 27.20.100.9365)
Am I not supposed to see 16.8.0 somewhere in this ?
MPC/HC is part of K-Lite Codec Pack, is not it ?

Re: About the update
Ah, OK.
You know, I "verified" the updates from its help menu.
I admit I more or less guessed something like that.
Oh, if I type "K-lite" in the Windows search field, the only answer is "uninstall K-lite Codec Pack".
Perhaps somewhat brutal compared to the aim of knowing the current version, do not you think so ?

Re: About the update
It also shown the version directly in that title bar, but it isn't visible in your case due to the huge text size.
Re: About the update
It scales based on the general Windows scaling settings. You have text scaling enabled, that causes problems like this in many applications.
Re: About the update
Yes, so it is fixed. The general Windows scaling, as the name says it, is general. So, it cannot be modified for the needs of one application.
