Old ati driver problems with
Hello, I update to the new 1.6.7.0 version and since that I cannot launch mpc-hc without getting an unexpected error which totally crashed mpc.
The error is an access violation error with the crashing module being atidxx32.dll (if run on mpc 32) or atidxx64.dll if run on mpc 64.
As the error seems to be the same for both version I will go on and include more info only for one of the two (64bits).
Offset is always 0x66CCAD, codebase: 0x7FFACE4A0000 and the error is that the thread (thread number) tries to write memory at address 0xXXXXXX.
The strange thing is that although the error says it is a driver error I did not have this problem before updating.
As music keeps playing until I forcefully close mpc from task manager I suppose it is a render related error on DXVA (?).
Any help would be appreciated.
P.S.: drivers are known to be old as the my GPU is an AMD HD5850 running Catalyst 15.7.1 and 2d driver 8.01.01.1500, 3d driver 9.14.10.01128. I cannot update to newer driver.
P.S.2: Disabling the Direct3D 11 usage on settings make MPC work fine. But I do not know if this is the optimal solution going forward.
Btw I would also like to change GPU but considering the current market state this is not an option either.

In latest version it should only use D3D11 on modern GPUs.

I tried installing the latest update (I think not beta though) which did not fix the issue. As this is not a test machine I try to avoid the beta till it is not a beta anymore
