Error during video playback MagicInfo (digital signage)
Hello at all,
I'm here to ask for help regarding a major video playback problem in a recent setup.
We are using Samsung MagicInfo Player for windows where there is a schedule with 4 videos that goes in loop after end.
Using last version of klite codec and default settings using Lav decoder and HW accelleration during playback after a few cycles, black screens begin to appear at the beginning of each video between one and the other.
Until it stops completely in a crash of the Samsung iPlayer.
If i using FF show the same.
How can i understand locate the problem?
Is there a really simple unfiltered setup that I can try?
Any kind of help is really appreciated.
I'm using a Xeon W-1270P CPU with a Nvidia P2200 graphics card and latest driver.
OS Windows LTSC

Re: Error during video playback MagicInfo (digital signage)
Does the crash message show any details? If not, look in the Windows Event Viewer, application log.
If it happens after a few cycles, then it is possible that the application has a memory leak. Open the Windows Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc) and monitor the usage of system memory and graphics memory.
I suggest you give our own player (Media Player Classic) a try.
Menu > View > Playlist
The playlist window has a right-click menu to save a created playlist as a file.
Options > Playback > Repeat forever
Options > Playback > Fullscreen > uncheck Exit fullscreen at end of playback

Re: Error during video playback MagicInfo (digital signage)
Hi Admin,
I check already event viewer and task manager.
There is no crash event, and ram or vram is not full.
I already tested Media Player Classic and its work great without error but i cant use instead of SamsungMI because we need remote contents management.
Using Lav video without HW Acceleration i have no more error in short time.
I will test a little bit longer.

MPC can be controlled remotely using a web interface.
Options > Player > Web interface
It also has a programming API for external control.
