DTS audio popping?

I updated to the latest version of K-Lite today and now DTS tracks are behaving weirdly. When I play or pause, my speakers pop. Also, I can adjust the volume in the player and it doesn't affect the volume coming out of my speakers. I ran the same tracks through VLC and it played them just fine. Anyone else have this problem?

Did you enable bitstreaming? Because in that case the decoding and volume control is done by your receiver instead of the computer.

I did but it doesn't stick. When I hit Apply & Close and open it again, the settings change back.

I does apply settings successfully. It always selects "keep current settings" by default after a reload.

If you want to control volume with the player then you need to disable bitstreaming.

It still doesn't fix the problem. I can't control the volume with the player regardless of bitstreaming. I believe something in the new update screwed up the audio.

Yes, somehow bitstreaming was enabled. I thought I HAD to enable it. It must've been ticked during the update process. I disabled it and it's solved now. Sorry! And thanks!
