Error: Failed to set pre-resize shaders Empty Error: Failed to set pre-resize shaders

hi

I use the latest version of W10 and Mega. sharpen and sharpen 2 used to work and make the video so clearer but now when I select sharpen2 then apply it gives me this error: Failed to set pre-resize shaders. DX end user already installed. should I downgrade to an older version of this player, and if so where can I find the link. thanks in advance.

Which video renderer are you using? It must support Shaders.
Options > Playback > Output

MPC Video Renderer only supports post-resize.

you're a lifesaver, from that list (directshow video) I chose enhanced video render custom, and now it's clear as it used to be, AMAZING!
out of curiosity, do you recommend a specific renderer/directshow video?

thanks a lot
