MPC feature request - sound pitch at elevated speed

When playing back at high speed, the sound pitch is increased, as with an old-time tape recorder or record player. Surely there must be a way to correct for that like YouTube does.

I found another post here from 2019 that mentioned that problem, but the suggested fix does nothing.

This functionality is already available.

MPC-HC options > playback > output > audio renderer

Both SaneAR and MPC Audio Renderer apply pitch correction.

Could we please have on of those as the default? I almost ditched klite and MPC-HC because I was missing this feature.

SaneAR already is the default in the codec pack, and has been for a long time already.

When I am installing, I select downmix to stereo, which might change that. Is this option still needed in the first place?

The downmix option is unrelated to the renderer.
