I have a wav file that can be played normally in other players, but when using the MPC-HC built in k-lite codec pack full, the file is recognized as "Audio: MPEG Audio 48000Hz stereo 96kbps [Audio]", and the playback is noisy. The original file information is
Format: PCM
Format settings: Little / Signed
Codec ID: 1
Duration: 2 min 5 s
Bit rate mode: Constant
Bit rate: 2 304 kb/s
Channel(s): 2 channels
Sampling rate: 48.0 kHz
Bit depth: 24 bits
Stream size: 34.6 MiB (100%)
the wav file

This should solve it:
Codec Tweak Tool > Preferred Splitters > .wav > LAV Splitter

Yes,it's working。This bug should be quite rare.

Yes, it should be very rare. The uncompressed audio data probably starts with a data sequence that resembles compressed MPEG audio, causing the misdetection by the standard splitter from Windows.
