Media controls in windows volume popup

Hi,

I'm using windows 10 and I just updated the media player after a long time without updating and I noticed that the windows media controls shows up beside the volume bar when changing the volume. This doesn't happen before the update.

Is there a way to disable this?

Media Control functionality was recently added to the player.

There is currently no option yet to disable it, but it may get added soon.

I see. In that case, downgrading seems to be the only option for now.
Just installed 16.4.5 and this has fixed the issue for me.
Will update once the option to disable media controls becomes available.
