How do I play audio streams with the "https" prefix in the RealPlayer 18-series ?
As far as I remember, the settings in K-Light made it possible
to play even difficult formats in Windows Media Player and
RealPlayer used to 'follow along', i.e. be able to play there as well.
"https" can be played in Windows Media Player,
but RealPlayer doesn't 'follow'.
Currently the setting "View → Album Info → Hide" is removed
in the R.P. 20-series (allowing wider control panel with a wider
timeline for the "PerfectPlay" function) therefore I still use 18.
Without being too precise in my descriptions of the settings
in K-Light, I have "Full Pack" (Codec Pack) 16.4.6 installed
and somewhere checked: "external player".
Furthermore, I believe I checked as many codecs as I could find.
Windows 10, ASUS Laptop.

Codec Tweak Tool > Preferred Splitters > HTTPS > LAV Splitter
If that does not work, then you are out of luck with RealPlayer.
MPC-HC from K-Lite can play your streams without issue.

Under: "## 32-bit source filters ##", I suppose ?
(because there is no such setting under: "## 64-bit source filters ##").
That was already set, by whom I no longer remember.
I have full confidence in your expert knowledge
so I'll have to leave it with that. Thank You.
The temporary R.P. timeline called "PerfectPlay" is
a Godsent when One is listening to channels with
a lot of commercials and you can just sweep past/
through them.
I already have an ongoing support issue with them
so I will take the opportunity to ask them the next
time they'll contact me, but the error message is
(because there is no such setting under: "## 64-bit source filters ##").

The setting applies to both 32-bit and 64-bit.
