Unable to load subtitles
Hello!
Recently, I found a strange problem. When I play some specific MKV files with built-in subtitles on my computer, WMP can't load subtitles.
The test video link is as follows:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1brCqIAwUkyWWEBOnAGsJuiVw_TBj0MPI/view?usp=sharing
My computer information is as follows
CPU:i7-1165G7
GPU:intel Xe + MX450
OS:Windows10 LTSC
K-Lite version: 16.3.5 basic (installed with default configuration)
But I found two strange things
1. When I use another computer (CPU: i5-4590, Intel Core Graphics) to play the video, the subtitle can be loaded normally
2. When I play this video, these three small icons will NOT be displayed on the right side of the taskbar
How can I deal with this problem? Thanks for your reply

Re: Unable to load subtitles
This happens because WMP is a piece of crap and uses crappy codecs from Microsoft by default.
You have three options:
1) Install Standard version of the codec pack and use the included Media Player Classic. That player is a million times better.
2) Rename your file to .video to bypass use of the Media Foundation codecs from Microsoft
3) Disable Media Foundation with the Codec Tweak Tool
